Service apartment in taipei located near 捷運忠孝復興站

Upon arrival at the designated location you need to call the person to bring you to the service apartment room but they do have one office at the level 5F-1 at the same building of the serviced apartment is. Basically it is in a normal commercial/home building where it had partition one unit into several serviced room for tourist 

         

 Good: 

• Near MRTYou are to hold on to the key for the room
• Quiet location with a very nice meatball store nearby
• Washing machine in the bathroom for the room which i booked
• 10/15mins walk to eslite 24hours bookstore near Dunhua South Road
• Spacious room

Bad:

• You need to put a deposit of 2000NT or foreign currency equivalent to that amount in the event of any damage/smoking in the room. The deposit will be returned back to you when go to their office to check out

Note: Due to it is a service apartment thus the room is not clean everyday but you can pay additional price for them to do so

Scoot Flight back from Taipei

 There are mainly three type of seats to choose from for flyscoot

Standard Economy Class seats (Blue)

Between 18.9 and 19.7 inches wide, we’re proud to say that our Economy class seats out-size almost all other carriers’ seats, full-service carriers included. Clad in royal blue fabric, our Economy seats recline to an impressive 107 degrees and feature a 31" seat pitch.

Super Seats (Yellow)

With up to 35" of legroom, these seats will make your onboard experience that much sweeter, all for a small fee. Want an insider tip? The Super seats in rows 61 to 64 of our Scoot Boeing 777 aircraft are bigger, with more leg and elbow room. These seats come in pairs, which give you more privacy and which give us all the more reason to refer to them as our ‘love seats’.

S-t-r-e-t-c-h Seats (Yellow)

Whether you're tall or you're small, you deserve to sprawl. Our S-t-r-e-t-c-h seats have the most legroom of all, with at least 35" of legroom and no seat in front of you. Look out for these seats on board – they’re the ones in yellow at the bulkheads and by the doors. And their all yours, for a small fee.

During this trip i had paid additional fee for the Super seats which lay inbetween the scootbiz seats section and the standard economy class seats

I had pre-order meal when i book the ticket

Good: Spacious seat compare to other budget airline/full service airline

Bad: At taoyuan airport, the staff just let all passenger in to board the plane which cause some disorder in boarding the plane unlike in singapore changi airport, the staff based on seat number from end of the aircraft to board the plane

 ScootBiz Review

Managed to book a scootbiz flight to taipei in November.

There is a priority queue for scootbiz customer to avoid long queues for normal passenger as scoot currently use 777s plane, only until 2014 scoot will start to get the new dreamliner 787s

 The boarding gate E27 is much nearer to T1 than T2 even though scoot fly from T2

 Scootbiz seats are comparable to premium economy class of the full service airline and even for normal seats it is much spacious than other budget airline and some full service airline too.

 Meal is included in the scootbiz ticket, the scoot staff will ask you what meal you wish to get shortly after you had board the plane. the meal inclusive of a drink, a snack and the main meal you wish to have and for scootbiz customer upon board the plane the staff will hand out pure drinking water

Good: Spacious seat/Priority queue when check in/boarding the plane

Bad: Paid premium price for the business class of the budget airline
Suggestion: If you fly by scootbiz, get the last row of the seats
